3rd European Fatty Liver Conference: Interorgan connection in NAFLD – from basic science to a multidisciplinary clinical approach
8 juin - 10 juin
The 3rd European Fatty Liver Conference (EFLC) will take place in Maastricht starting on the 8th of June and will end on the International NASH Awareness Day on the 10th of June. We will gather patient platforms, policy makers, clinicians, scientists, and the industry to discuss the growing burden of NAFLD. NAFLD is a global clinical problem with systemic aspects requiring the interaction of experts in different fields.
The main goal of this conference is to create opportunities to interact with colleagues in scientific discussions in an informal atmosphere to initiate new (international) collaborations and increase awareness for the multidisciplinary scientific and clinical approach required for improving diagnosis and prevention, and treatment of NAFLD.
We offer a hands-on workshop on liver ultrasonography and transient elastography. Joint the participating speakers and discuss your own research by sending abstracts: Kate Hallsworth, François Pattou, Raluka Pais, Christos Lionis, Jean Muris, Vicki Mooney, Catherine Postic, Amalia Gastaldelli, Myriam Aouadi, Charlotte Scott, Nathalie Delzenne, Leo van Grunsven, Mathias Heikenwälder, Stefano Remeo, Rui Castro, Helene Duez, Jérôme Boursier, Patrick Rensen, Manolis Tscochatsis, Achim Kautz, Jeffrey Lazarus, Madelon Johannesma and Onno Holleboom.
